Bluebird Nordic appoints new CEO

Freighter lessor Bluebird Nordic has appointed Audrone Keinyte as chief executive.
Keinyte is taking over the role from Siggi Agustsson, who has held this position since 2020. Agustsson is moving to a new role at parent company Avia Solutions Group, where he will be a senior advisor to the chairman of the board.
Additionally, Keinyte is also taking over the position of chief executive at BBN Cargo Airlines Holdings, the holding company of Bluebird Nordic.
She joins the company from her previous role as chief executive of Novaturas, the largest tour operator in the Baltic region, where she held this position for three years.

The appointment comes as earlier this year, Bluebird Nordic took delivery of a B737-800 Boeing Converted Freighter from AviaAM.
Including this latest delivery, the carrier currently operates with a fleet of seven B737-400s, one B737-300 and two B737-800 cargo aircraft and has plans to add more.
