GSSA ECS is hoping it will be able to capitalise on four new destinations added by customer airline FLYONE as part of its Total Cargo Managment (TCM) service agreement.

The low-cost Moldova-based carrier has added new flights to Amsterdam Schiphol, Barcelona, Brussels and Dusseldorf to Tel Aviv, Istanbul, Sharm el-Sheikh and Yerevan.

The flights will be operated with A320 aircraft offering three tonnes of cargo capacity per flight.

Cargo carried is expected to consist of general cargo, e-commerce, and mail.

ECS Group executive chairman Adrien Thominet said that it had been providing TCM services to the carrier for more than a year.

FLYONE operates around 4,000 flights per year across its network, with an average cargo capacity of one to one-and-a-half tonnes on its A319 and A320 aircraft.

As well as its new destinations, the carrier flies to and from Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Turkey, and the UK.
