Delta Cargo promotes cargo sales talent

Delta Cargo has promoted US-based Michael Hatfield to general manager of cargo sales, east region.

Hatfield previously spent more than eight years as general manager, cargo sales – strategic accounts at the Atlanta, Georgia-headquartered airline.

“Michael will maximise support, revenue and network opportunities in this important region, which offers incredible capacity and includes international hubs such as ATL, JFK and BOS. His previous experience in Cargo Sales equips him to effectively collaborate with Delta Air Lines colleagues and other professionals in the industry,” said Delta.

Prior to joining Delta, Hatfield spent more than 10 years working for United Airlines as strategic partner manager and later as director of strategic accounts.

Delta is a member of the SkyTeam Cargo global alliance and participates in joint venture partnerships with Air France-KLM Cargo, Virgin Atlantic Cargo and Aeromexico Cargo, and in cooperation with Korean Air Cargo.
