Aero Africa adds air cargo expert

Air cargo management group Aero Africa has appointed Samuel Geevarghese as regional head, Middle East and India.

Geevarghese has spent over two decades in the air cargo industry and has airline and logistics experience.

He has held major key positions in operations, customer service, sales, and management roles.

Geevarghese started his career with Lufthansa Cargo in Sharjah and Dubai, worked for logistics firm Freight Systems, and most recently was general manager responsible for cargo sales and operations at Spicejet.

His expertise is in cargo sales, product development, charter sales, airline cargo and GSA, said Aero Africa.

Founded by a group of air cargo entrepreneurs, Aero Africa is dedicated to providing African logistic solutions and neutral value-added services to the global logistics and aviation community.

For airlines, the group’s services include SPA rate & agreement negotiations, transit cargo management and monitoring ground handling operations.
