Five more years for Swiss and Swissport

Swiss International Air Lines signed a memorandum of understanding on 24 March to extend its Zurich ground handling contract with Swissport International until the end of 2020. It encompasses all ramp services, including loading and unloading as well as baggage and de-icing.
The handler’s executive vice president for Europe west, central and east Philipp Joeinig (pictured right, with Swiss chief operating officer, Rainer Hiltebrand, left) said: “Zurich is a core element in the service chain of SWISS. With our services, we will continue to strive to offer top notch quality and security standards.”
