Green is the new brown

US parcels and logistics global giant UPS, or ‘Big Brown’ as it is affectionately known, is turning green.
The great challenge for any global parcel carrier, with sizeable and international freighter fleets, is how to be a responsible, environmentally aware corporate citizen.
Mike Mangeot, spokesman for UPS Airlines, says: "The definition of sustainability is when good business practice meets with environmental stewardship, and UPS Airlines works hard to stay in that sweet spot.
"Our comprehensive approach is based on a long-held UPS business value known as ‘constructive dissatisfaction,’ the idea that something can always be improved."
