London and Amsterdam freighter for Turkish Airlines

Turkish Airlines is to launch a weekly freighter service from Istanbul Ataturk to London Stansted and Amsterdam Schiphol from October 29. The A310 aircraft will operate inbound and outbound on Thursdays.
Turkish Airlines operates regular passenger flights to the UK but this will be the first all-cargo service for six years.
The carrier’s General Sales Agent in the UK and Netherlands is Global Airline Services, part of the Global GSA Group, whose commercial director, Bob Matharoo told Air Cargo News: “This will be an exciting time for us. It will be Turkish Airlines’ first service to Stansted – and we have every hope that we will be able to further expand the service at some point in the future.”
