Saudia Cargo investment streamlines processes

Saudia Cargo’s investment in infrastructure facilities at its Jeddah and Riyadh cargo stations has reduced import and export documentation and procedures by 75%, said Saudi Airlines Cargo Company chief executive Omar Talal Hariri.
In his speech delivered at the Second Supply Chain and Logistics Conference held in Riyadh, he reiterated the pivotal role that the air cargo sector continues to play in achieving the objectives of Vision 2030 which aims to turn the Kingdom into a global logistics hub for goods transport and cargo services.
Hariri spoke about the country’s strategic and geographic location which makes it a major transit station for goods and a crossroads for international cargo routes.
This location will help Saudi Arabia become a pivotal logistics and cargo platform, providing good opportunities for the country to increase its share of logistics operations.
