Lawsuit tangle new Florida cargo airport

FLORIDA’S proposed massive, international cargo airport is caught up in a lawsuit between its developers.

Mosaic Fertilizer and Van Fleet International Airport Development Group are trying to sue each other over their inability to develop the project.

Mosaic alleges Van Fleet did not abide to the original agreement and wants to reclaim full ownership of the property.

Van Fleet’s counterclaim says Mosaic’s attempts to settle the issue are in bad faith to the agreement.

The proposed airport was intended to take over cargo flights, especially to and from Latin America, from Miami International. With the court case set for 2012 the eventual airport, if it ever actually materialises, is still going to be a long time in the future.
