Norbert Dentressangle’s express Russia service

NORBERT DENTRESSANGLE’S freight forwarding division Norbert Dentressangle Overseas, has launched new express services from the UK to Russia, to assist companies trying to break into the Russian market.
From June, the company will operate a consolidated airfreight service (daily and weekly), along with an ocean freight/road service option, says a statement. The service also includes help with navigating the country’s complex Customs processes.
The move follows Norbert’s acquisition of the freight forwarding activities of the Daher Group in September last year.
Matt Young, UK commercial manager for Norbert Dentressangle’s freight forwarding division, observes: “Russia represents a massive opportunity for UK companies, however it is still one of the most challenging markets to do business in.
“While there are plenty of options for getting freight to Russia, the country’s Customs regulations and procedures are extremely complex and subject to change without notice, creating a barrier to successful trading.”
